Heer Ranjha Movie - Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif play the lead role?

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has refuted reports that Katrina Kaif has been finalized as female lead in Heer Ranjha.In and interview with Mid-Day published today, September 29, Nadidwala said only Shahid Kapoor has been finalized for Sabir Khan's romcom.

He also said that Priyanka had similarly not been finalized for Siddharth Anand's romcom with Saif Ali Khan.

"Shahid is doing Sabir Khan's Heer Ranjha. Once Sabir completes the script, we'll start casting the actress for Heer's role. Neither Katrina, nor Priyanka has been approached," said Nadiadwala.There were reports earlier this month that Khan had wanted to sign up either Deepika or Katrina for the Heer Ranjha, but since Katrina didn't have dates Deepika was finalized.

Later in the month it was reported that Katrina had replaced Deepika.

Well, there is no denying the fact that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are the most stylish and most sought after couple in the world of brand endorsements. They had done the famous Airtel ad together which went on to be a huge favorite of the viewers. Now, the duo has signed yet another brand for its endorsement. Metro shoes, the well known name in shoes and footwear industry has roped in the two iconic stars as their ambassadors. Though the offical announcement is still due, the sources have it that they have already shot for a commercial with the tagline ‘Happy Feet, Happy People’. Not to mention here that the happiness radiating from their faces is unmistakable when the two walk hand in hand and so the tagline gets a new meaning altogether.

Superstar Shahrukh Khan seems hell-bent to make his home production Ra.One a sci-fi thriller extraordinaire, at a par with the ones that Hollywood makes.

After roping in the best hands and minds at stunts and special effects, the King Khan is learnt to have signed the world renowned German composer Hans Zimmer to compose the background score of the film.

Zimmer has composed music for films like Gladiator, Pirates of The Caribbean series, The Da Vinci Code, The Dark Knight and Inception. Considering Zimmer’s credentials, his inclusion in Ra.One, if true, is indeed a big catch for SRK.

We hear that it was director Anubhav Sinha who suggested signing up Zimmer for the film. Though the buzz is that Zimmer has been paid a whopping amount for coming aboard, there’s no official confirmation yet of this.

Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor's World Tour

The world stage is set for the Kapoors as the young Kapoor scion will start his first world tour across 16 nations. Ranbir Kapoor’s world concert tour starts in June 2011 and dad Rishi Kapoor will not only accompany him but also co-produce the event. It wasn't the perfect setting for a romantic proposal, but a young Delhi boy dared to pop the question to actress Deepika Padukone when she came to a mall here Tuesday to promote her film Lafangey Parindey.
The youth went down on his knees, looked at the B-town's beauty and asked: "Will you marry me?"
Deepika, who was accompanied by her co-star Neil Nitin Mukesh, seemed baffled by the sudden, unexpected proposal. But she was quick to respond.

"I am not ready for marriage yet," replied Deepika, who looked lovely in a sari.
But the youth wasn't willing to give up so easily.

"But I am ready for you," he said.
